The Caretaker Committee Chairman, Bogoro Local Government Area Markus Bitrus Lusa has announced the donation of one thousand economic trees to the councils’ Members of staff.
The Chairman announced this when he flagged off the distribution of 300 bags of fertilizer secured by Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria Bogoro Chapter for onward distribution to its members at the Secretariat.
Markus Lusa, pointed out that the economic trees will include fruits trees like Mango, Orange, others include Timber among others.
He further explained that his administration has concluded plans to give economic trees to members of staff, adding that, the economic trees are source of food, medicine, timber and contribute to human well-being and economic development.
He commended the leaders of the Medical and Health Workers Union for the initiatives of the fertilizer which according to him is timely and will go along way to encourage those who are interested in farming.
