Bauchi State Civil Service Commission has promoted one hundred and forty one 141 Community Health Extention Workers and rejected one conversion for lack of accredited certificate.
In its continued efforts to improve and motivate Primary Health Care Workers in the communities across the Commission had also promoted one hundred and forty one 141 Community Health Extension Workers, Community Health Officers, Nutrition Officers, Environmental Health Technicians, Medical Records Technicians and Midwives.
They were considered for promotion and upgrade during the Commission’s plenary session, Where the officers were promoted to Chief Community Health Extension Workers, Assistant Chief Community Health Extension Workers, Assistant Chief Nutrition Officers, Assistant Chief Environmental Health Technicians and Principal Community Health Extension Workers,placed on grade levels 14, 13 and 12 respectively.
Others were Principal Community Health Extension Workers II, Principal/Senior Environmental Health Technicians, Staff Midwives I, Higher Community Health Extension Workers and Higher Medical Records Technicians on grade levels 10, 9 and 8, among others.
The Commission also upgraded 1 Students Environmental Health Technician GL 03 to Environmental Health Technician GL 07 and three Students Community Health Extension Workers GL 03 to Community Health Extension Workers GL 07, while 1 Clerical Assistant GL 03 converted to Scientific Officer on GL 08.
Meanwhile five Officers were exempted during the Commission’s sitting, q for not participating, sitting and pass the Civil Service promotion examination during the exercise, while one Officer’s conversion was rejected following the confirmation of additional educational qualification.
