APC Bauchi Central Assembly Aspirant Installs 80 Solar Street Lights Across Bauchi Metropolis

The All Progressives Congress APC aspirant for the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Bauchi Central Constituency, Haris Aliyu Hardo, has facilitated the installation of 80 solar-powered street lights across several communities within the constituency as part of efforts to improve public infrastructure and enhance residents’ welfare.

The solar street lights have been installed in strategic locations, including Shingen Abba, Mashigan Sabon Unguwar Railway, Behind IDC, Unguwan Doya, Zango, Behind Federal Secretariat, Jahun, Unguwan Kuka, Ibrahim Tahir, Bayan Makarantan Baba Sidi, Kofar Dumi Ta Gabas, and Jaja Unguwan Borno.

The initiative is expected to improve security by illuminating major roads and public spaces at night, ease movement for residents, and create a more conducive environment for commercial activities in the benefiting communities.

Speaking on the intervention, supporters of Haris Aliyu Hardo described the project as part of his commitment to community development and grassroots service, noting that the installation reflects his resolve to address critical needs within Bauchi Central Constituency.

They also expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the successful execution of the project and reaffirmed Haris Hardo’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life of the people.

Residents of the affected areas welcomed the development, expressing optimism that the solar-powered street lights would enhance safety, encourage business activities after dark, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of their communities.
