Chairman of Alkaleri LGA Vows to Modernize BRC FM Alkaleri with Computers, Recorders After Solar Project

The Chairman of Alkaleri Local Government Area, Garba Hassan Bajama, has pledged to provide computer sets and audio recorders to BRC FM Alkaleri as part of efforts to improve the station’s operational capacity.

Hassan Bajama made the pledge during a live radio programme while on a working visit to the station.

He said the proposed donation would complement the recently installed solar power system, which was provided to address the station’s persistent electricity challenges and reduce its dependence on fuel amid rising costs.

The chairman expressed optimism that the improved facilities would enhance the station’s efficiency and enable its management and staff to discharge their duties more effectively.

He urged them to remain committed to professionalism in promoting government policies and programmes across Alkaleri Local Government Area.

Hassan Bajama also advised the management and staff of the station to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment.

He appealed to political office holders, philanthropists, and other well-meaning individuals to support the development of BRC FM Alkaleri by contributing resources that would further strengthen the station.

Addressing the station’s volunteers, the chairman appealed for patience, assuring them that if re-elected in the forthcoming local government elections, he would introduce a special stipend to support their welfare and encourage greater dedication to their responsibilities.
