Bauchi State House of Assembly has called on the state government to as a matter of urgency construct an access road linking Nasawaran Tsafi. Tsafi. Dutsawa, Tungwal and Bangire villages in Shira Local government Area, as immediate intervention aimed at mitigating flooding and restoring partial accessibility pending full road construction.
This followed a motion moved by the Member the representing Shira constituency at the state Assembly Hon Auwal Hassan, during a plenary presided by the Speaker Abubakar Y Suleiman.
The House also mandate the ministry responsible for works, Rural Development and Infrastructure to conduct a comprehensive and expedited feasibility study including engineering design, environmental assessment and cost evaluation of the proposed road corridor.

Alhaji Hassan explain that part of the prayers include calls on the executive arm to priorities the project within its insfractures development agenda, considering it’s strategic importance to rural connectivity , agricultural productivity and social welfare.
The house during the pleansry consider and adopt a committee report on joint health and public account in respect of a petition against the recent fire outbreak suspected to have been set by a suspicious group at Bil and Melinda Gates College of Health Technology, Ningi.
Among the committees findings, is the recent fire outbreak at the college which resulted in the destruction of several classroom hss exacerbated the stran on the institution’s infrastructure, particular in terms of the adequacy of lecture halls has greatly affects the smooth delivery of academic activities which had worsening the already existing challenged of insufficient lectures halls.
Part of the recommendation, the House Assembly Called on the executive arm of government to deploy adequate newly recruited local vigilantes, particulaly those from Ningi local government area to the Bill and Melinda Gates college of health technology Ningi to strengthen the security of the institution.
The recommendation also charged the college management in collaboration with a relevant government authorities, should initiate community engagement programs to sensizes the host community on the importance of taking ownership of the institutions which will no doubt foster mutual cooperation protect the college infrastructure and crest a supportive environment for its growth and developme
