Bauchi State Hospital Management Board conducts free eye medical outreach in Katagum Local Goverment Area

General Hospital Azare is to host an eye outreach organized by the Bauchi State Hospital Management board in conjunction with Macca eye clinic Bauchi, supported by the state government
The treatment according to the Hospital Management Board was meant to reduce burden of expenses incurred by patient seeking medical attention in the treatment of eye problems especially rural dwellers.
The principal medical officer in the hospital Dr.Bello Idris who to expressed the lead the team in Azare said the treatment would be undertaken by medical professionals from Macca eye Hospital as part of thir community engagement.
Dr.Bello pointed out that arrangements already reached advanced stage to accommodate the consultants and provide support to the patients to ensure a smooth exercise.
The exercise was organized by the State hospital management board was also meant expand the outrich Of the consultant and provide enableng environment for patients to access the service of the consultant.
The chairman of the management board Dr.Mohammad Sambo Alkali said already, governor Bala Mohammed has provided support to the board towards organizing aimed at assisting the less privileged in the state.
