
Bauchi state First Lady Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad has urged women to engage themselves in Agricultural practices specially Home Gardening with a view to improving their family’s economic wellbeing.
The First Lady Dr Aisha Bala made the call today at graduation of ceremony of six hundred women who befited in home Gardening Agriculture program organized by Bauchi ACreSel in collaboration with Al’Muhinbbah Foundation.held at the International conference center Bauchi.
She commended the executive Governor of Bauchi State Senetor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad towards supporting women programs in the State.
Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad also appreciated ACreSel for the training of six hundred beneficiaries on home Gardening in the state.
The First Lady advised the beneficiaries of the project to use the knowledge acquired during the training in their respective communities.
In their Goodwill messages the commissioner of Agriculture Dr Iliyasu Aliyu Gital and his counterpart commissioner of Water resources Honerable Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki noted that ACreSel came at the right time when the State requires their project and services in so many areas, hence the need for people to support the project.
They commended the State Governor Dr Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad in his effort towards building the state in different perspective.
The country coordinator Madina Ayuba appreciated the Bauchi State government, the State first Lady and all other stakeholders for their support to the project.
In his welcome address the state coordinator of Acresal Dr Ibrahim kabirSaid Six hundred beneficiaries benefited From the home Garden program on agriculture,three hundred each for the two sets.
He said the ACreSel project is the women Dream project to benefit from to building their self in home Garden to reduce their economic and assist them in their good health care.
Highlights of the event was presentation of starter parks and Fifty thousand Naira each to the beneficiaries.
