Bauchi Governor attends Iran’s National day in Abuja

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State attended the 47th National Day celebration of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja.
The event attracted diplomats, government officials, and distinguished guests from across the world, who gathered to celebrate with the Government and people of Iran.
The Governor was warmly received by the Iranian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Mahdavi Raja, who conducted him on a brief courtesy tour of the venue.
During the tour, Governor Bala Mohammed exchanged pleasantries with other diplomats and eminent personalities present at the celebration.
Speaking with journalists after the event, Governor Bala Mohammed commended the Islamic Republic of Iran for its remarkable progress and achievements across critical sectors of development.
He noted that Bauchi State enjoys a long-standing and cordial relationship with Iran, anchored on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared development aspirations.
The Governor further disclosed that Bauchi State is currently engaging an Iranian firm on a collaborative investment initiative in the agricultural sector.
He explained that the partnership is aimed at leveraging Iran’s vast technical expertise to enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen value chains, and create sustainable economic opportunities for the people of Bauchi State.
