First Lady Bauchi State distributes Palliative to orphans and Vulnerable children

The Almuhibbah Foundation, a humanitarian organisation founded by the wife of the Bauchi State Governor, Aisha Bala Mohammed, has distributed Sallah clothing materials to orphans and other vulnerable children in the state.
Speaking during the distribution ceremony, the Bauchi State First Lady and founder of the foundation, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, said the gesture was aimed at supporting less privileged children and putting smiles on their faces during the Sallah celebration.
She stressed the need for parents and guardians of orphans to support them in acquiring both formal and Islamic education, as well as vocational skills that would enable them to become self-reliant members of society instead of roaming the streets.
Dr. Aisha Mohammed advised the children to remain focused on their studies, noting that both Western and Islamic education would help them achieve their dreams and become responsible citizens.
She also encouraged the children, particularly the girls, to maintain good personal hygiene to protect themselves from diseases.
The First Lady further called on other organisations and well-meaning individuals to emulate the foundation’s gesture by extending support to orphans and other vulnerable members of society.
In their separate remarks, Malam Mustapha and Malama Aisha Adam Abubakar highlighted the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on the importance of caring for orphans, and urged relatives and community members to support orphaned children and their mothers, especially in education and skills acquisition, to enable them to become productive members of society.
In her welcome address, the Coordinator of the Almuhibbah Foundation, Hajiya Zahara’u Y. M. Baba, explained that the initiative was part of the foundation’s commitment to supporting orphans and vulnerable children through donations and contributions from individuals who are passionate about humanitarian service.
