Bauchi State Govt pledges to offset backlog of gratuity for retired civil servants

 

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has pledged his administration commitment to ensure that all back log of the civil servants gratuity is paid before the end of his tenure.
The Chairman Bauchi state pensioners Association Bauchi state Chapter Comrade Abdullahi Alhassan Misau who stated this in an interview,v stated that the Governor himself is concerned about the non payment, but assured the pensioners of his readiness to pay their gratuity and the nineteen thousand naira increase Arrears.
The Chairman Pensioners Association, Comrade Abdullahi Alhassan Misau said efforts are under way to make sure that everyone is paid both the gratuity and the Arears.
He appealed to the states retirees to pray for the Governor to operate an open door policy to settle the outstanding backlog of gratuities before the end of his tenure.
In another development, the commissioner of Health Bauchi state, Dr Sani Mohammed Dambam has appreciated the present administration led by Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the foresight in the Health sector.
It will be recalled that the only Specialist Hospital in the state was at the verge of collapse, hence the need to renovate the Hospital, adding that all the General Hospitals across the state have been rehabilitated for effective service delivery.
Dr Dambam charged the people of the state to support the Governor in other to continue with the good work considering that he has demonstrated in developing Bauchi beyond reasonable doubt.
The commissioner called on the people of the state to pray for the Governor for God’s protection and guidance to continue with the good Works before his tenure comes and end.
