The State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Auwal Jatau, made the disclosure at the first quarter 2026 meeting of the State Task Force on Primary Health Care, held at the Government House, Bauchi.

He explained that the commodities were handed over to the state government by UNICEF and subsequently distributed to health facilities across the state.
Alhaji Auwal Jatau also announced the ongoing renovation, upgrading, and equipping of the Specialist Hospital Bauchi, at the cost of nineteen billion naira.
He charged participants at the meeting to share innovative ideas and propose practical solutions to move the primary health care system to the next level.
