A Bauchi State gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress APC, Architect Kabiru Abubakar Baba Ma’aji, has intensified consultations with party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.

A Bauchi State gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress APC, Architect Kabiru Abubakar Baba Ma’aji, has intensified consultations with party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.

Baba Ma’aji visited the APC Secretariat of Bauchi Local Government Area at Kofar Gombe, where he met with the party chairman, Sunusi Biyali, and other party members to solicit their support for his gubernatorial ambition.

During the visit, the APC gubernatorial aspirant promised to facilitate the establishment of a permanent party secretariat to strengthen party administration and improve coordination of APC activities in the state if elected.

He also commended party supporters and loyalists who accompanied him during the consultation visit.

Speaking during the meeting, the APC Chairman of Bauchi Local Government Area, Sunusi Biyali, welcomed Baba Ma’aji to the party secretariat and praised his commitment to engaging party stakeholders.

In a related development, the gubernatorial aspirant later visited the Bauchi State APC Secretariat located along Maiduguri Bypass Road, where he was received by the party’s State Secretary, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Na Iya.

The party leaders assured Baba Ma’aji of their support and cooperation towards the success of his political journey.

Addressing party members during the consultations, the APC governorship candidate said he attended Kobi Primary School before proceeding to Federal Government College in Kogi State, where he later obtained a Diploma in Architecture from Kaduna Polytechnic and subsequently earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Ahmadu Bello University.

Baba Ma’aji further disclosed that he served under the administration of former Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda among other public service engagements within Bauchi State and Nigeria.

He said his aspiration is driven by his desire to serve humanity and contribute meaningfully to the development and welfare of the people of Bauchi State.
