The member representing Ganjuwa-Darazo at the National Assembly Mansoor Manu Soro has hailed the conduct of the local government elections in the state, describing it as a victory for democracy.
The lawmaker was speaking on the outcome of the local government elections in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi.
Mansoor Manu Soro believed that the election result clearly shows that Bauchi residents are quite united and making choices based on the performances of their elected officials.
He said despite the Action Alliance Party won councillorship seat in Fafa ward, Darazo Local Government council, the loss was a referendum on him.
Mansoor Manu further commended the Independent Electoral Commission for organizing credible and peaceful local government elections across the twenty local government areas of the state.
The federal lawmaker said, Governor Bala Mohammed is nurturing knowledgeable young politicians with the ability and vast experience to take the state to the next level of development.
He appreciated the youths, party stakeholders, and security agents for the peaceful conduct of the elections.
