BAUCHI STATE MINISTRY FOR WATER RESOURCES INAUGURATES SIXTEEN MAN COMMITTEE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF WATER SANITATION AND HYGIENE DIRECTORATES IN ALL THE TWENTY LOCAL GOVERMENT AREAS .

Bauchi State Commissioner Ministry for water Resources Abdurrazak Nuhu Zaki has inaugurated sixteen man Committee for the implementation of WASH Directorates in all the twenty Local Goverment Areas of Bauchi State.

Inaugurating the committee, the Commissioner charged the members to galvanize support towards achieving the desired goals.

He said the committee members. were carefully selected based on their track records, and urged them to develop effective strategies and mobilize resources to achieve their target.

The Commissioner described water sanitation and Hygiene as the fundamental human right which promote the health, well-being and overall development of any society.

He said the state government is committed towards addressing the WASH crisis and ensuring that all citizens have access to clean water, sanitation and Hygiene services.

Speaking at the Inauguration, the Chairman of the Committee who is also the Acting General Manager Planning Research and Statistics in RUWASSA, Alhaji Habib Muhammad Sadiq, promised to justify the confidence reposed on them, adding that the main term of reference for the committee is to ensure they develop skills service for the development of the Director in the WASH department of all the twenty Local Government Areas of the state.

He enjoined them to use their expertise and wealth of experience for the development of the program.

The Committee members include, Barrister M U Usman from MOJ, Nichol T Kankani in NEWSAN, Adamu Dagauda from RUWASSA, Ahmad Chindo Hassan, Nasiru Ibrahim Dewu from LGSC, Aliyu Inuwa ,and Musa Garba Bandat from RUWASSA,

Others are, Doctor Sam Andenyang Kamaluddeen Ishaq Sambo, Kabiru Adamu from Bauchi state House of Assembly, Juhana Enoch, Sara Yakubu from SPHCDB and Habib Muhammad Sadiq.
