DEPUTY CHAIRMAN ALKALERI LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL, PRESENTS SECOND PHASE OF BLOOD DONATION TO GENERAL HOSPITAL

The deputy chairman Alkaleri local government area Alhaji Abas Ibrahim has donated the second phase of the blood bags to the general hospital Alkaleri for the benefit of vulnerable and less privileged in the local government area.

Donating the items on behalf of the deputy chairman, the Special Assistant to the deputy chairman Muhammad Alhaji Abdullahi urged the management of the hospital to ensure the judicious use of the blood bags through giving it to those it was meant for.

According to him, the blood bags are meant for the less privilege and vulnerable people while appealing to them not to divert the properties to their personal use. adding that by doing so, the gesture would ameliorate their living conditions and reduce the hardship being experienced due to the economic condition in the nation.

The deputy chairman further expressed his readiness and determination to continue supporting the health sector so as to improve health care service delivery in the local government area.

Receiving the items, the medical officer in charge of laboratory services of the hospital Muhammad Ali expressed gratitude to the deputy chairman and applauded the deputy chairman’s foresight in donating the blood bags to the less privileged and vulnerable, which according to him, would help greatly in reducing the suffering of the people .

Muhammad Ali then, called on the other political office holders and wealth to do individuals to emulate the gesture. and pledged to use the items given to them judiciously..
