The Chairman Bogoro Local Government Council, Surveyor Lawi Sumi has assured of his administrative commitment to focus on education, Agriculture and health sectors as contained in this years budget proposal.
The Chairman of the council made the remarks shortly after presenting the council 2026 budget before the joint house committee on approproation.
Surveyor Sumi explained that on Agriculture,the local government will ensure that it repaired the 3 broken down tractors in addition to 2 new ones received from the bauchi state government and ACRESAL for effective Service Delivery.
The Chairman also attributed seventy five percent budget performance in the 2025 budget. Also presenting his council’s proposed budget, the Chairman TaFawa Balewa Local government,Mr Samaila Wakili said the budget defence availed them the opportunity to acquire knowledge which is key towards the execution of the budget.
According to him, the council has reached above 80% in the implementation of last year’s estimate, expressing optimism over utilization of this years budget if passed by the State Assembly.
