Alkaleri LG D/Chairman donates blood bags to the local government General Hospital.
The Deputy Chairman of Alkaleri local government area Alhaji Abbas Ibrahim has donated blood bags worth thousand of naira to Alkaleri General Hospital in order to assist the vulnerable and less privileged people in need of the bag in the local government.
Donating the items, the deputy chairman, represented by his special assistant Muhammad Alhaji Abdullahi urged the management of the hospital to ensure judicious use of the blood bags to the people it was meant for.
Abbas Ibrahim pledged to sustain the gesture, particularly when the hospital utilized and manage it properly.
According to him, local government administration under Hassan Garba Bajama is ready to improve the health sector for the betterment of people of Alkaleri local government area and Bauchi state in general.
Receiving the items, the chief medical doctor of the general hospital Alkaleri local government area Dr. Nasiru Muhammad Dan amarya promised to use the blood bags given to them accordingly especially to the vulnerable and less privileged people in Alkaleri local government.
Dr. Nasiru Muhammad Dan amarya said, this is not the first time Alhaji Abbas Ibrahim is making contributions in the area of health care service delivery in Alkaleri.
He however, appealed to the local government to repair the hospital ambulance which was now grounded and the refrigerator for keeping blood cool for future use.
