Bauchi NULGE President donates drug consumables worth over 3 million naira to primary health care centers in Dass.

The State President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) comrade Mohammed Yunusa has donated consumable Drugs worth over 3.5 Millions Naira to Primary Health Care Centers in Bununu center, Bununu East and Bununu South of Dass local Government Area.I I

Presenting the Items at the emir’s palace Dass, Comrade Muhammed Yunusa said the gesture is part of his contribution to ameliorate the suffering of the less privilege in the society.

He pointed out that the current situation in the country, larger number of people in the grassroots find it difficult to settle their medical bills.

The State NULGE President, enjoined people of Dass local government area to remain united and continue to support the present administration of Bala Mohammed for the overall development of the area.

Received the items on behalf of the benefiting communities, the Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, commended the NULGE President for the gesture, saying Government alone cannot do it, hence the need for stakeholders to contribute their quota toward achieving set goals in the health sector.

Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, who is also the Chairman State Immunization and Polio Eradication committee, charged health personnel in the state to redouble their effort on Child and Maternal, pregnant women treatment.

The traditional Leader therefore challenged the benefiting communities and health workers for judicial use of the drugs and also to encourage women to visit any nearest hospital for medical checkup.

The items donated include paracetamol syrup and tablet, ARTHERMETER TABS and injection, CIPROXIN TAB, FOLIC ACID TABS, Fersolate tab, ceptriazone injection,
7 cartoon of bleach, detergent, septrim tab and syrup Amoxicillin cap, ampiclox cap, IV flagyl, IV ceptriaxone among others.
