In an effort to boost socio economic development of the State, Toro Local Government council has hosted Chinese investors under the leadership of the Commissioner Bauchi state ministry of Natural resources and development on their mission to commence exploration in Toro Local Government Area.
Receiving them at the local Government council chamber , the Chairman Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo assured them of the abundant untapped mineral resources abound in Toro and unwavering commitment to creating an enabling environment for investment ,highlighting the peace, stability, and hospitality that define in the community’s qualities which he said makes Toro a prime destination for all investors.
The chairman who was represented by his deputy Hon Adamu Umar Danyao Geji, the chairman commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his relentless efforts to attract both local and international investors to the state saying that His recent visit to China has begun to yield fruits, assuring that Toro is ready to play a key role in actualizing his economic vision.
Dembo appealed to the people of Toro to welcome the investors with open minds and support them in every legitimate way, so that they can all benefit from the socio-economic dividends of their presence.
Earlier speaking, the commissioner ministry of mineral Resouses and development Alh Mohd Maiwada Bello said the visit was to introduce stakeholders to the Chinese company Mincheng, which recently entered into partnership with the Bauchi State Government, resulting in the formation of Bauchi Mincheng Corporation Company Limited.
According to him the Chinese company would fully work in mining sector so as to bust the state economy, therefore urged the Local government to provide them with adequate security for them to invest their wealth in the local government.
The Commissioner added that the exploration activities will commence in six communities of the state with five from Toro Local Government, namely Tilde, kayauri, Tibaren, Toro and pingel while one in Dass local Government.
The Chinese representative Mr Lee thanked Toro local government for hosting them and promised to work in accordance with the mining act and operate within the compass of the law.

Mr. Lee, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and assured that their operations will strictly adhere to Nigerian mining laws and community engagement standards, and requested adequate security to protect the project and ensure a successful operation in Toro.
In a vote of thanks, the District Head of Toro Katukan Bauchi Alhaji Umar Adamu thanked Toro local government for accepting them and promised to extend all hands of collaboration from members of the Community.
