Bauchi State Gov’t Pledges Support for Progress of Religious Organisations

The Bauchi State Government has expressed its commitment to supporting the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria in the state, particularly in the completion of the MSS Academy of Excellence.

The State Commissioner of Religious and Societal Reorientation, Engineer Mohammad Abdulkadir Binni, made the remark while inspecting the newly constructed school in Bauchi built by the Organisation.

Engineer Binni commended the Organisation for providing a school that will serve as a centre for moral training for younger ones, assuring the association of government’s continued support under the leadership of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad aimed at partnering with organizations that share its vision for a morally upright and prosperous society.

The State Amir of the MSSN Area Unit, Dr. Muhammad Hamid Adamu, revealed that the association has spent over N62 million on the school’s construction, which has reached 75% completion. He stated that the school’s purpose is to promote morality and create job opportunities for youths.

Dr. Adamu highlighted some of the association’s activities, including peace building training, guidance and counseling, and efforts to create an egalitarian society. Our goal is to empower the youth with the skills and values necessary to succeed in life, he said.

Dr. Adamu solicited the state government’s support to complete the school and enhance the association’s activities. The government’s pledge of support is expected to further strengthen the partnership between the MSSN and the state government.

The completion of the MSS Academy of Excellence is expected to be a significant step towards promoting education and moral values in Bauchi State. The state government’s support for the project demonstrates its commitment to partnering with civil society organizations to drive development.
