BAHA Committee on Information visits BRC FM Misau

The Bauchi State House of Assembly Committee on Information has visited BRC FM Misau in a move to review the present condition of the station with a view to improve it’s standard.
The Chairman of the committee and Member Representing Bogoro Local Government Hon. Musa Wakili Nakwada who led the entourage noted that they were in Misau to assess the present condition of the radio station and encourage the commitment of the staff towards improving the state owned media houses.
Nakwada added that in view of the significance of the radio stations in information dissemination, there is need for urgent upgrade of BRC Bauchi alongside it’s sister stations across the state.
The committee had earlier met with the chairman Misau Local Government who was represented by his deputy Hon. Garba Muhammad D.O to seek collaboration and inform him about the idea behind the visit.
In his remarks, the manager BRC FM Misau Malam Kabiru Aliyu Zadawa, commended the committee and the Bauchi State Government for initiating the efforts of revitalizing the radio stations particularly BRC FM Misau.
Malam Kabiru Zadawa also applauded the Managing Director BRC Bauchi Alhaji Umar Muhammad Shira over his commitment to fully restore the activities of the FM Stations across the state in line with the policies and programmes of the Bauchi State Government .
