Zakkat Collection Committee in Jamaare District realises over one million Naira for distribution to less priviledged

About one point four million naira cash has been realised as Zakkat by the Jama’are District Zakkat Collection and Distribution Committee.

Speaking during the distribution exercise held today in Jama’are, the Zakkat Coordinator, Malam Abubakar Mahmood, said each beneficiary would receive fifteen thousand naira in cash to support their basic needs.

Malam Abubakar Mahmood commended individuals who fulfilled their religious obligation by paying Zakkat, describing their contribution as vital to supporting the less privileged in the society.

In his remarks, the District Head of Jama’are, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Wabi, who was represented in the committee by the Danejin Jama’are, Alhaji Samaila Yarima, expressed appreciation to members of the committee for ensuring transparency and fairness in the exercise.

He called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the money given to them, especially in addressing their immediate needs, and urged well-to-do individuals in the community to continue supporting the Zakkat initiative in order to strengthen unity and reduce hardship among the people.

The distribution exercise was attended by committee members, community leaders, and beneficiaries drawn from different parts of Jama’are District.
