A prominent stakeholder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in katagum local government Area Alh. Garba Amale madakin Azare has applauded Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his unwavering support towards the movement for the creation of Katagum State.
Speaking to Newsmen in Azare the headquarters of katagum Local government Area, Alh. Garba Amale described the governor’s backing as timely and courageous, adding that the move demonstrates his commitment to fairness, equity, and balanced development across the state.
He emphasized that the movement for the creation of Katagum State has been ongoing for decades, driven by the people’s desire for closer governance and improved access to federal presence.
Alhaji Garba Amale Called on other leaders and stakeholders at the national level to rally behind the movement and support the aspirations of the people for the overall development.
He also called on the people of Katagum zone to remain peaceful, united, and offer prayers to the democratic process, saying, the creation of Katagum State would not only strengthen development in the region but also promote national integration and good governance.
