Ningi Local Government Council distributes Solar-Powered streetlight poles to eight Wards in Burra Emirate

Ningi Local Government Council has distributed solar-powered streetlight poles to eight electoral wards in Burra Emirate as part of efforts to improve lighting and enhance the wellbeing of residents.

Speaking at the distribution exercise, the Chairman of the council, Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai Dankasuwa, said the intervention was aimed at delivering dividends of democracy and improving the living conditions of the electorate at the grassroots.

Alhaji Nasiru Dankasuwa urged residents to continue supporting the Bauchi State Government and the local government administration, noting that, such cooperation would further accelerate the provision of development projects across communities.

The Chairman commended the Bauchi State Governor for what he described as tremendous achievements in the areas of education, healthcare, security, and the provision of social amenities.

He also called on the people to continue praying for the governor’s guidance and protection.

In a goodwill message on behalf of the ward councillors, Garba Sale, Councillor representing Burra Ward, expressed appreciation to the chairman for fulfilling his campaign promises and justifying the confidence reposed in him.

He appealed to the people of Burra Emirate to give maximum support and cooperation to the local government council to enable it attract and execute more development projects.
