The Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area, Alhaji Nasiru Zakari, has called on communities of Burra District to give their full support to the present administration in order to attract more developmental projects to the area.
Speaking during the commissioning of a newly constructed motor park and the renovated Primary Healthcare Centre in Burra, Alhaji. Zakari emphasized that the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed prioritizes both human capital development and infrastructure.
He noted that the state government remains committed to improving the welfare of its citizens, particularly in the areas of healthcare and transportation.
The chsirman explained that if properly managed, the new motor park would not only ease transportation challenges but also serve as a revenue-generating asset, creating employment and boosting commercial activity within the community.
While speaking on the renovation of the Primary Healthcare Centre in Dabarbaga, he lamented the poor condition of the facility prior to its rehabilitation, and expressed relief that residents will now enjoy access to quality healthcare services in a conducive environment.
He assured the community that the centre will soon be fully equipped with the necessary facilities to ensure efficient healthcare delivery, aimed at improving the quality of life for the common man.
In his remarks, the District Head of Burra, Alhaji Ya’u Shehu Abubakar, commended the chairman for his timely intervention and described the project as a historic achievement for the people of Dabarbaga.
He also appealed to the state government to reconsider the reconstruction of the Burra-Ningi road, which he said would ease the burden faced by commuters and residents who rely on the route.
