Legislative Member Bauchi State Assembly reaffirms commitment to the welfare of his constituents

Member Representing Burra constituency at the Bauchi State House of Assembly Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Burra has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and prosperity of his constituents.

Alhaji Tanko Burra was speaking while presenting cash donation of one point five million naira to support community development projects in Bashe, Gamji and Kafin Lemo communities and a personal donation of 3 million naira to 26 representatives of various wards to within his constituency.

He said the community projects include, culverts and bridges renovation, drilling of boreholes, mosques renovation and animal slaughter tent.

The lawmaker revealed that, the community projects were part of his contribution to fostering inclusive economic growth and sustainable development in Burra constituency.

Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Burra noted that the, community projects to be conducted under direct labour, when completed would improve the economic status of the area.

According to Ibrahim Burra, a community project at Bashe, was awarded Six Hundred Thousand naira, while the sum of Seven Hundred Thousand naira out of the estimated amount was handed over to the representatives of Agwarmaji for culvert construction to ensure free flow of water and Gamji community received Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand naira to build animals slaughter tent.

He further said one Hundred Thousand naira was secured to provide locked doors at Tashan Loko Mosque.

In their remarks, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Lingya from Bashe, Ado Youth leader from Gamji and Usman Galadima from Agwarmaji all thanked the member representing Burra constituency for the laudable initiative, stressing that, the intervention would significantly enhance living condition and infrastructure development of the areas.

They also promised to supervise the works to ensure that standard materials are used and qualitative works are done.
