Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has charged the Zaar Community and the non Zaar within the Chiefdom to continue to rally round the Chiefdom in order to bring the desired unity and development in the area.
The Governor stated this at the Commissioning ceremony of the Zaar Decelopment Association National permanent Secretariat held in Tafawa-Balewa local government area .
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Alhaji Auwal Mohammed Jatau, said it is an opportunity that should not be taken for granted after, decades of struggle, the dreams of their fore fathers has now come to a reality through the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, hence the need to embrace it and prayed God for it’s sustenance
Speaking at the event, the first Gung Zaar one of Zaar Chiefdom Mr Marcus Koko Yake expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the Secretariat as a result of the relative peace being enjoyed in the Area
He thanked Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for creating Gung Zaar and the concern for his people ensuring that the lives and properties of his people are protected which has course him having sleepiness night in order to ensure that peace is sustain in the state and it’s environs.
Also speaking , the two local government chairmen of both Bogoro and Tafawa-Balewa local government areas, Alhaji Samaila Wakili of Tafawa-Balewa thanked Zaar people for the gigantic project, and appealed to the Governor to construct road to the Secretariat, for easy access.
Responding, the Chairman Bogoro Local Government Council, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi thanked Governor Bala for inclusiveness in his leadership style irrespective of any differences, he called on the Chairman Tafawa-Balewa to drill a Borehole for easy access to drinking water in the office.
Also expressing his heartfelt gratitude to God for the successful completion of the project the National President of the ZDA Engineer Isuwa Galla, adding that this success was as a result of the Governor’s support to the leadership of the ZDA and some sons and daughters of the land that contributed towards the success and prayed God to reward them abundantly.p
