The Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Jama’are has approved the appointment of three principal officers to oversee the affairs of the institution pending the constitution of a substantive management.
This was contained in a statement issued by the College Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Mallam Mohammed Rabi’u, who explained that Dr. Abraham Yusuf Gana takes over from Professor Aisha Indo Mohammed, who was appointed on 16th March, 2021 and has successfully completed her tenure in office.
According to the statement, Dr. Abraham Yusuf Gana, an experienced educator with strong digital leadership capacity, is expected to work closely with the Governing Council to strengthen the administrative system of the College.
The Registrar expressed confidence that the newly appointed officers will justify the confidence reposed in them and contribute positively to the growth and development of the institution.
The appointments include Dr. Abraham Yusuf Gana as Overseer of the College, Hajiya Hadiza Habu Gidado as Acting Bursar, and Abdullahi Bello as Overseer of the College.
