Couples in Bauchi State have been advised to prioritize mutual respect, tolerance and forgiveness in their marriage.

The advice was made by members of the state legislative arm at a wedding ceremony of two daughters of member representing Duguri/Gwana at the state house of assembly Hon. Bala Abdullahi Dan held in Dan town, Alkaleri Local Government Area.

The advices emphasized the importance of peaceful conflict resolution and maintaining a Godly foundation.

The advice from the lawmakers and other dignitaries reflect the broader societal emphasis on building strong, respectful and God centered marriage.

Speaking in a separate interview, the father of the two brides, Bala Abdullahi Dan encouraged the couples to imbibe the habit of resolution and respect each other when disagreement arises without involving external parties.

The ceremony was attended by the State Governor, represented by his deputy Mohammed Auwal Jatau, the speaker of the state assembly Dr. Abubakar Y Sulaiman, the legislatures, Commissioners, politicians, family and friends as well as wishers.
