The company responsible for the expansion and upgrading of the Central Market in Bauchi, GrynBricks & Tech, has held crucial meeting with leaders of various traders associations within Bauchi local government area.
The meeting,, brought together the chairman of the traders’ union and representatives from different sections of the all traders Association.
During the engagement, the company emphasized the importance of sensitizing and enlightening members of the trading community about the developmental impact of the ongoing project.
Representatives of GrynBricks & Tech described the project as a key part of the Bauchi State Government’s broader efforts to revitalize the local economy and provide secure, well-structured commercial spaces for business activities.
The company also urged allottees of shops to promptly make payments to secure ownership of the allocated spaces and adhere strictly to the stipulated rules and guidelines.
In their response, the traders’ union chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Caps and other attending leaders expressed appreciation for the interaction, pledging their full support to both the company and the state government.
They assured their commitment to cooperate fully to ensure the smooth and successful completion of the project.
However, the traders used the opportunity to raise certain concerns and appeals to include calls for flexible payment options and the provision of sufficient time to complete the payment process for shop ownership.
They noted that all grievances would be formally documented and submitted to the appropriate authorities for consideration.
The meeting is part of ongoing collaborative efforts between the government, private developers, and the trading community to ensure the successful expansion of the Central Market, which is expected to boost commercial activities and drive economic growth in Bauchi State.
