Bogoro LG Chairman launches free distribution of essential drugs and Maternal Kits to PHCs.

The Chairman of Bogoro Local Government area has Yakubu Lawi Sumi officially launched the distribution of essential drugs and maternal kits to the Primary Health Care center in the area.

‎Flagging off the distribution exercise at the Local Government Secretariat, Yakubu Lawi Sumi represented by his Deputy Mulki Markus Masoyi reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the Local Government area.

‎He thanked Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for his visionary leadership and support to the health sector in ensuring the well being of the citizens of Bauchi state, saying the Governor’s commitment underscored his administration’s dedication to ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for all residents.
‎
Yakubu Lawi Sumi further called on the local government Councilors to supervise and ensure proper monitoring of all the drugs distributed across their wards for the benefits of the people.

‎In his remarks, the head of administration of the council Alhaji Bala Mohammed Garba pleaded with the health workers to compliment Government efforts by supporting the Government in rendering effect services and exhibit professionalism in the conduct of their duties.

‎Also speaking, the Director Primary Health Care Department Bogoro Mr Godwin Hakuri, expressed gratitude to the council chairman for the distribution, saying the initiative will enhance good healthcare services in the LGA.
‎
‎According to him, Bogoro Local Government council under the leadership of Yakubu Lawi Sumi, has been instrumental in supporting the Primary Health Care department which has demonstrated his dedication and determination to improving the lives of citizens across the Local Government area.
