ATBUTH and Bauchi Tourism Development Corporation synergizes to provide Medical Services to Tourists.

The Chief Medical Director of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Professor Yusuf Bara Jibrin says the hospital is partnering with relevant institutions in providing Medical Tourism for foreign and domestic tourists visiting Bauch.

The Medical Director gave the assurance when he received a delegation from Bauchi State Tourism Development Corporation led by Managing Director of the Corporation, Muhammad Nasir Yusuf in his office.

He stated that the hospital is ready to work towards tackling communicable diseases such as lassa fever, Ebola, COVID-19 among others to protect visitors and residents.

Professor Yusuf Bara called on people to always fact check any rumor about the services rendered by the hospital.

He appealed to government at all levels and donor agencies to assist the institution with ambulances to ease their operations.

Earlier, the Managing Director and Conservator general, Bauchi State Tourism Development Corporation Mohammed Nasir Yusuf, said they were at the hospital to seek partnership in the area of Medical Tourism.

Muhammad Nasir further said the partnership when implemented will greatly encourage and quarantee visitors health from across the globe visiting the state.
