Bauchi SUBEB Pledges to conduct Merit-Based Screening of Shortlisted Teacher Applicants

Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, has pledged to thoroughly screen shortlisted candidates in the ongoing teachers’ recruitment exercise to ensure that only qualified teachers are employed in the state service.

The Director School Services of the Board, Alhaji Zuhairu Usman, gave the assurance while addressing candidates at the Board’s premises during the exercise and urged the applicants to remain patient and committed throughout the screening process.

According to him, the Bauchi State Government under Governor Bala Mohammed remains committed to employing qualified and competent teachers who will impart quality knowledge and instill good moral values in students for the overall development of the state.

Alhaji Zuhairu reaffirmed SUBEB’s readiness to conduct a transparent and inclusive recruitment process based on merit to justify the confidence reposed in the Board.

He commended the Executive Chairman of SUBEB and Governor Bala Mohammed for their efforts toward improving basic education in the state.
