Bauchi State Governor calls for prayer towards Success of forthcoming general elections in the country

Governor Bala Mohammed has appealed to Christians Community in the Northern region to pray fervently for the success of the twenty twenty seven general elections in the country.
Governor Bala Mohammed made the call at a one day National Prayer rally held at COCIN LCC Kagadama Yelwa Bauchi.
Represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Christian Religious Affairs Pastor Zakka Luka Magaji, the Gocernor appreciated the leadership of the Nigeria Prays”” for organizing the program.
He also called on people to live in harmony and prayed for peace to prevail among Nigerians and the world at large.
The Senior Special Assistant ,appreciated the Governor for his consistent support towards the national Prayer rally and for including the christian community in his administration.
The program witnessed presentation of Award to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and the Senior Special Assistant on Christian Religious Affairs, Pastor Zakka Luka Magaji and , Special prayers among other activities.
Also Speaking, Former President Yakubu Gowon called on christians in the North East Zone to intensify prayers to overcome challenges confronting the region.
General Yakubu Gowon who is the Chairman of Nigeria Prays aid the essence of the prayer was to promote peace, unity and security in the Northern part of the country.
The former president represented by Evangelist Austin Kemie, s reiterated the importance of intercessory prayers for regional and national stability within the country.
He commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his commitment to peaceful coexistence and fighting against insecurity in the state
In his sermon, S P Alewa Ehoni Satmak called on Christian in the Northern region to pray for Nigeria to overcome insecurity and Corruption.
