BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO ENSURING ACCESSSIBLE JUSTICE DELIVERY.

Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to revitalizing and strengthening the judicial system to ensure efficient and accessible justice delivery across Bauchi State.
The Governor made the pledge at the commencement of the twenty-twenty five/twenty-twenty six, Legal Year, held at the High Court Complex Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed stated that the Bauchi State Government, places high priority on judicial sector reforms, as part of efforts to promote good governance and uphold the rule of law.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Mohammed Auwal Jatau, noted that a functional and well-equipped judiciary is essential for maintaining peace, protecting citizens’ rights, and ensuring accountability in society.
According to him, the government would continue to invest in judicial infrastructure, training and enhance the welfare of judicial officers to strengthen public confidence in the system adding that the Executive Arm remains committed to deepening collaboration with the judiciary, to fast-track ongoing reforms and address institutional challenges affecting justice delivery.
Earlier in her remarks, the state Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar commended Governor Bala Mohammed led administration, for supporting the judiciary, and emphasized the need to maintain the spirit.
Similarly, the state chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Barrister Rabiu Shehu has commended the Executive arm for its support to the Judiciary.
According to the State NBA Chairman, one of the Cardinal objectives of legal year celebration is to boost the good harmonious relationship between executive, judiciary and legislative arms government aimed for good governance.
Barrister Rabi’u Shehu also said that the approval of twenty additional state council in twenty-twenty three in addition of ten in this year by the governor.
Under a review NBA has contributed immensely towards ensuring the welfare services of the staff of judicial sector through the good efforts made by the executive arm in the state.
