The Chairman of the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri has reiterated the state government’s commitment of ensuring that all eligible children attended basic education across the state.
He also called on relevant stakeholders, particularly the Communities to protect schools facilities from vandals.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri stated this when he featured on a BRC live phone in programme, programme” the Score Card” on the achievements of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed led administration.
He attributed the huge challenges facing basic education in the state especially vandalism of properties to the activities of scavengers and assured that law will be implemented against the perpetrators in the state.
According to him, Bauchi state government has put concrete measures in place to improve students school enrollment, retention and completion campaign drive in the state.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri enumerated some of the achievements recorded in SUBED to include proper monitoring and evaluation of school teachers, renovation and construction of classes, improving the welfare of teachers and the provision of technological teaching gadgets.
Callers during the programme, called on the state government to take concrete measures addressing destroying of government facilities across the state.
