‎Bauchi State Government, AUDA-NEPAD disburses star-up grants to 20 people in Bogoro

The Bauchi State Government in collaboration with the African Union Development Agency–New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA–NEPAD) Nigeria, has launched the disbursement of twenty thousand naira to 20 people in Bogoro Local Government area.

‎Speaking during the disbursement exercise, the DG SDGs Bauchi state Dr. Mrs Lydia John Shehu said Bauchi state government through African Union Development Agency AUDA_NEPAD is committed to driving sustainable development and prosperity through training of Desk officer, Disbursement of cash support to the farmers, Distribution of Goats and Agricultural p to teeming beneficiaries among others including Profiling of small holder farmers across all Local Governments of Bauchi state.

‎Dr. Lydia disclosed that the initiative is part of effort to support livehoods, enhance food security, and promote economic resilience.

She called on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the resources, which if used wisely would contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Local Governments.m their future.

‎Dr. Lydia John commended His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad kauran Bauchi for his upliftment of the wellbeing of Bauchi state populace and also the support accorded to the Sustainable development Goals in the state.

‎In his response, the Executive chairman Bogoro Local Government Honourable Yakubu Lawi Sumi represented by his Deputy Hon Mulki Markus Masoyi lauded the effort of SDGs for their inclusive leadership and people-oriented empowerment programmes to the less privileged.

‎Mr Yakubu Lawi Sumi commended the Executive Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed kauran Bauchi for his resolute support to the masses and exceptional leadership in the state.

‎‎He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to support Government’s policies and programs towards improving the welfare of the citizenry.

‎In a vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries, Hajiya Abu Nuhu thanked Governor Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir, the Director General Bauchi state Sustainable development goals, and the African Union Development Agency–New Partnership for Africa’s Development for supporting them with grants.
