Bauchi lawmaker urges Christian to embrace the spirit togetherness, love and sacrifice

A Member, Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Bogoro Constituency and Chief Whip of the House, Musa Wakili Nakwada, has called on Christians to live in peace and harmony with adherents of other faiths in order to build an egalitarian and cohesive society.

Musa Nakwada made the call in his 2025 Christmas message shortly after a church service at Wurno ECWA Church in Tafawa-Balewa Local Government Area.

He urged Christian faithful to embrace the spirit of togetherness, love, and sacrifice which the Christmas season represents, stressing the need for mutual understanding and tolerance among people of different religious backgrounds.

The lawmaker also encouraged Christians to extend support to the less privileged and vulnerable members of society, particularly during challenging times, describing such acts as essential to sustaining peace and social stability.

Musa Nakwada further appealed to residents of Bauchi State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, noting that, collective cooperation remains vital for achieving rapid growth and sustainable development across the state.

He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, and effective representation in Bogoro Constituency and the state at large.

Also speaking, Ecwa International President, Reverend Dr, Job Ayuba Bagat, called on Christians faithful to live a life according to the teaching of the Jesus Christ and to always share with the needy, identity with widows, orphans from across the religious not only Christians.
