Christian Association of Nigeria offers special prayers for Nigeria’s security agencies

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jama’are Local Government Chapter, Reverend Luka Madaki, has called on residents of the area to embrace peace, love and unity as essential ingredients for national development.

Reverend Madaki made the call in his Christmas message to Christian faithful at the ECWA Church, Jama’are.

He offered special prayers for lasting peace in the country and for divine protection for security agencies, to enable them discharge their responsibilities effectively.

The CAN Chairman also urged Christians to support the efforts of the Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Area, Inuwa Abdullahi Moisha, in promoting peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths in the area.

Speaking during a visit to the Jama’are Emir’s Palace, Reverend Luka Madaki commended the Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmad Wabi, for his support and non-partisan leadership, describing it as instrumental to the peaceful and conducive environment enjoyed by Christian faithful in the area.

Responding, the Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmad Wabi, called on his subjects to shun tribalism, religious intolerance and regional divisions, stressing that lasting peace can only be achieved through mutual respect, understanding and unity among all citizens.
