Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has approved the appointment of Zainab Garba Musa as Special Assistant (Chief Press Secretary to the First Lady of Bauchi State).
The appointment was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Aminu Hammayo, who said the decision was based on Musa’s track record of sincerity, hard work, dedication, exemplary conduct, and wealth of experience.
According to the statement, the Governor expressed confidence that the new appointee will deploy her skills and sense of responsibility in addressing the challenges of her office, in line with the administration’s vision of driving positive change and improving the quality of life of the people of Bauchi State.
The letter statement further stated that, Zainab Musa’s remuneration will be in accordance with existing government circulars and relevant public service rules as may be amended from time to time.
While congratulating her on the well-deserved appointment, the Secretary to the State Government requested the appointee to formally indicate her acceptance to enable further necessary action.
She has also been advised to declare her assets at the Bauchi Office of the Code of Conduct Bureau, in line with constitutional requirements for public office holders.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
