Bauchi First Lady reaffirms her commitment to improve the welfare of women and children in the state

Bauchi State First Lady, (Dr.) Aisha Bala Mohammed, has extended warm New Year greetings to the people of the state as they welcome the year 2026.

In her New Year message, the First Lady expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His mercy, guidance, and protection over Bauchi State and its people throughout the past year.

She described the New Year as an opportunity for renewed hope, strengthened unity, and collective commitment toward the growth and sustainable development of the state.

Aisha Bala Mohammed called on Bauchi residents to continue to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, hard work, and mutual respect, noting that, meaningful and sustainable development can only be achieved through unity and shared responsibility.

She reaffirmed her commitment to initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of women, children, youths, and other vulnerable groups, particularly in the areas of social welfare, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

The First Lady commended the resilience, patience, and cooperation of the people of Bauchi State and urged them to remain hopeful and steadfast as the government continues to implement people-oriented policies and programmes designed to improve the standard of living of citizens.

She prayed for good health, peace, progress, and prosperity in the New Year and wished the people of Bauchi State and Nigerians at large a happy and prosperous 2026.
