Bauchi first Lady Facilitates the Release of Five Children in remand home Bauchi

Wife of the Bauchi State Governor, Aisha Bala Mohammed has urged Parents to redouble their efforts towards ensuring proper upbringing of their wards.

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad made the call during the close out ceremony of 16 day activities when she organised launch with children at the Remand Home Bauchi.

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad maintained that parents have to monitor their children and to give them time to listen to their problems so as to prevent them from engaging in bad behaviors.

She stressed the need for community and religious leaders as well as the society at large to join hands towards assisting the children to reintegrate back to the society.

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad called on the freed children to remain law and to avoid any thing that could send them back to the Remand home and always to listen to their parents so that they would become useful members of the society.

The First lady advised other children who are at the home to remain patient as efforts are being made to follow their cases to set them free and as well to bear in their minds never to go back to the Remand home again.

The DPP Ministry of justice Barrister Sha’awanatu Yusuf advice them to obey the law and to obey their parents.

Barrister Sha’awanatu Yusuf commended the first lady for her efforts towards assisting the less privileged in the society and promised to collaborate with other partners who have roles to play for the success of their cases

On his part sheikh Junaidu sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi called on them to follow rules and guidelines of Islam, and also respect their parents and to use their stay at the Remand home to learn.
