The State Commissioner Ministry for information and Communication comrade Usman Garba Dantuaki says the state government has proposed reasonable amount in the 2024 state budget estimate for the provision of Modern working facilities to the BATV and the BRC for better performance.
Comrade Usman Danturaki stated this in an interview with parliamentary correspondents after depending the Ministry’s 2024 proposed budget at the state assembly.
He said the ministry has mapped out plans for training and retraining of staff of the ministry and parastatals as well as recruiting new ones for effective service delivery.
Similarly, the State government has proposed in the 2024 budget estimate 12 billion naira to the State primary Health Care Development Agency for effective health coverage.
The Executive Chairman State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Rilwanu Muhammad revealed this when he appeared before the state assembly Committee on health for the twenty twenty-four budget defence.
According to him, amount of the proposed budget, nine billion naira is for Capital expenditure while 3 billion naira is for recurrent expenditure.
Dr. Rilwanu Muhammad said the move is to strengthen health care services delivery across the state.
He added that the ministry has recorded 35% performance in the 2023 budget estimate.
