Azare Central Primary School 1986 Old Boys donates 2500 books to the school management.

The Central Primary School Azare Old Boys Association 1986 set has organised a reunion meeting to strengthen sense of brotherhood and unity among its members.

The meeting which was held in Azare, was attended by several stakeholders including old teachers and classmates to discuss several matters of importance on how to revive the association’s activities.

In his welcome address, the Chairman Organising Committee of the association Malam Iliyasu Umar appreciated the efforts of the members for attending the meeting geared towards building robust cooperation and unity in the affairs of the association.

In his remarks, the initiator of the forum, Sarkin Noman Katagum and Commissioner of Police in Akwa-Ibom State CP Baba Muhammad Azare recalled that the gathering reminded him of the shared experiences and past memories from 1980’s.

CP Baba Muhammad added that as part of his contributions to strategize the association’s activities, announced the construction of two water wells within Azare metropolitan as charity to the late school teachers and classmates that have passed away in the previous years.

He charged members to embrace unity and be their brothers keepers by helping each othera at all times.

In his response, on behalf of the award recipients, an old teacher of the school Malam Imamu Umar Chochi thanked members of the association for appreciating their efforts in educating them 39 years ago.

The association used the forum and presented award of honour and gifts to the school old teachers and classmates and donated 2500 exercise books to improve teaching and learning activities in the school.

Personalities present at the occasion were CP Muhammad Baba Azare, Commissioner of Police Akwa-Ibom State, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad, Comptroller Immigration Idi Iroku, Ogun State, Kabiru Alhaji Azare, current Headmaster Central Primary School among other prominent classmates.
