Bauchi State Government has signed the 2025 work plan with UNICEF.
The State Commissioner of Budget, Economic Planning and Multi Lateral coordination signed the annual working plan on behalf of the State government.
In her remarks, the Chief of field office UNICEF Bauchi field, Dr.Nuzhat Rafique said the workplan was jointly prepared with relevant ministries, agencies, stakeholders in the state which include health, education,WASH, nutrition, societal and behavioural change.
She therefore solicited for all the necessary support and cooperation from all stakeholders for the successful implementation of its activities.
Responding, the the State commissioner for budget, Economic Planning, and Multi Lateral Coordination Hajiya Amina katagum appreciated UNICEF for the partnership, the technical and financial support especially on child related programs and promise to support its programs with the aim of improving focus and efficiency and closing gaps where identified.
The signing of the workplan signifies the formalization and committment of the two parties to achieving their goals and objectives for a successful and productive year.
