ATBU Bauchi matriculates over four thousand new Students for the 2025/2026 Academic session

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, ATBU, Bauchi, has matriculated four thousand three hundred and fifty five new students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba made the disclusure shortly after the students took oath of allegiance held at Yelwa Campus, Bauchi

The VC urged the matriculated students to refrain from social vices to include drugs, cultism, and examination malpractice, emphasizing that students success comes from academic excellence and integrity.

Professor Ibrahim Hassan advised the students to prioritize their studies, engage in research, and make proper use of the university libraries and labs to excel in their academic pursuit
The VC enumerated the breakdown to include Faculties of engineering nine hundred and thirty three, Science, eight hundred, Computing five hundred and twenty six, and Environmental Technology seven hundred and twenty six students.

Professor Garba congratulated the matriculated students and pledged ATBU’s commitment towards graduation of leaders and innovators that will compete with their peers globally
The Vice Chancellor then warned students of the ATBU against violation of the university regulations, noting that any one found Wanting would be punished accordingly
