ADC Confirms Bauchi Governorship Candidate for 2027 General elections

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has affirmed Senator Haliru Dauda Jika as its governorship candidate for Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In his inaugural remarks at the Development Exchange Conference Hall, Birshin Fulani, Bauchi, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Retired General Isahya Doka, said senator Jika was the sole aspirant who contested for the ticket. After passing all screening processes, he emerged as the ADC flagbearer for the 2027 governorship race.
Alhaji Garba Dahiru was also confirmed as the ADC candidate for Bauchi South Senatorial District, while Ibrahim DanAlga emerged as the party’s candidate for Bauchi Federal House of Representatives seat.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Dauda Haliru Jika thanked the ADC leadership for endorsing him to contest the Bauchi governorship election under the party.
The governorship aspirant also appreciated state stakeholders, ADC members, supporters, INEC officials, and security agencies for their role in ensuring a successful exercise, and assured the people of Bauchi State of a transparent and inclusive administration if elected.
