Gov. Bala swears in 6 judges and 5 Khadis in the State

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has sworn in 6 judges and 5 Khadis recently appointed with urging them to be steadfast in the discharge of their official responsibilities.

The governor has also sworn in permanent commissioners for the State Judicial Service Commission, Civil Service Commission and the Assembly Service Commission as well as members of the Governing Board of the State Public Procurement Bureau.

Speaking at the occasion held at the banquet hall, Government House, Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed in particular said with the appointment of the new judges and Khadis, there would no be delayed in the administration of justice.

He congratulated the sworn in judges and the Khadis on their well deserved appointment and urged them to do their best and add value to the judicial system in the state.

The Governor noted that since coming on board, his administration is giving the necessary attention to judiciary so as to operate efficiently and promised to continue to provide the needed facilities to judges and other critical stakeholders for better service delivery.

He said the synergy between the 3 arms of government in the state is commendable which resulted in the successful implementation of the administration’s people’s oriented policies and programmes for greater Bauchi state.

On the appointments of the permanent commissioners for the State Judicial Service Commission, Civil Service Commission and the Assembly Service Commission as well as members of the Governing Board of the State Public Procurement Bureau, Governor Bala Mohammed charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Speaking at the occasion, the State Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for supporting the appointment of the new judges and the Khadis which will reduce many challenges faced in administration of justice.
