‎Wife of Chairman Bogoro Local Council distributes Palliative to women ward Leaders 

The wife of the Executive Chairman Bogoro Local Government area Mrs Apphia Yakubu Lawi Sumi has distributed relief materials to ward women leaders across the Local Government.

‎Addressing the women drawn from the thirteen wards Mrs Apphia Yakubu thanked the women for their continued support for her husband Hon Yakubu Lawi Sumi, and the Governor of Bauchi state State, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir along his wife.

‎Mrs Yakubu explained that the items were donated by First Lady of Bauchi State, Aishatu Bala Muhammad through the Renewed Hope Initiative of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.

‎According to her, women play a vital role in the present democratic setting and reiterated the commitment of her husband to improving the lives of all sons and daughters of Bogoro land.

‎. She states that the Executive Chairman is working hard to get more empowerments and projects for the betterment and development of Bogoro Local Government area.

‎Responding, the Woman leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bogoro Local Government Mrs Esther Patrick thanked both the First Lady and the governor’s wife and the Executive Chairman’s wife for identifying with the women through the provisions of the bags of rice, millets, sugar and wrappers.

‎Mrs Patrick described the distribution as timely, noting that the items received would sustain their families for a long time.

Materials distributed include cartoons of sanitary pads, rice, maize, millet, Sugar and groundnut oil .
