Warji Loca‎l Government expresses readiness to support the forthcoming integrated measles and rubella campaign in the Area

‎The Chairman Warji Local Government Area Alhaji Aminu Barmuni, has expressed his administration’s commitment to support the integrated measles campaign in the area to curtail the outbreak of the virus.

‎The chairman, represented by his Deputy, Habibu Idris,stated this during a
‎Task Force immunization meeting on the ‎deliberations, conclusions and preparations of the upcoming Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in the area.
‎
He reiterated that,‎ Warji Local Government Council will double its efforts in tackling such diseases for the well-being of the people.

‎Alhaji Aminu also called on parents and guardians to give their support by bringing out eligible children to receive the life-saving vaccine.

‎On his part, the Local Government Immunization Officer Alhaji Dauda Shehu Burra, said all the arrangements are on pipeline for the flagging off ceremony of the immunization in the local government area.

‎Dauda Shehu Burra explained that,all relevant stakeholders already have received their training in different categories and they are well trained.

‎Earlier, the Director primary Health care Warji local Government area Alhaji Lawal Baba Ibrahim emphasized the important of their participation in the meeting,saying the meeting will increase their knowledge, experience and their capability on how to cub all the the challenges bedeviling the the campaigns.

‎Alhaji Lawal Commended the Local Government Chairman for his tireless effort in supporting Health sector of the local Government.
